Nuclear in medicine, NPP Safety, RAW management, Safety culture, Education and staff development, Radiation and environment, NPP life management, NPP Safety, Advance in nuclear, Economical, Social and Legal issues Bulgarian and foreign experts, professionals, researches, professors and authorities related to the nuclear energy will take part. Safety culture is a replica of the culture of the individual. What are the leading elements that could impact on safety culture level, and how we have to tailor the education policy – these topics we would like to emphasize. The educational policy is a key element in the building of public engagement/acceptance toward nuclear applications including energy production. We believe the conference environment shall help in creating and engaging more young professionals in nuclear engineering and applications. The young authors, not older than 35 years, being first author could take part in Young Authors’ Competition (YAC) for Best Presentation. Only participants who have not being ranked first in the five previous editions of the competition are allowed to take part. Competitions for best young specialists’ presentation are arranged from 2005 every year. In this relation and after so many years of experience we can affirm that the competition is a good approach for the young contestants to carry out valuable projects, to benefit from the feedback for their presentation and by this way to feel themselves more important and needed in the society. The authors should submit full text of the presentation of up to 6 pages. The paper should contain: 1) paper title, 2) name, address, phone and e-mail of the first author, 3) authors’ names and full address, 4) five keywords in order of importance, 5) abstract, and 6) full text. The presentations should state clearly background, objectives, results and conclusions. The Competition Commission will review and evaluate the presented papers. You will be informed about the acceptance of your paper for oral presentation at the conference. The rest of the papers could participate in the competition for best Poster award. The best presentations nominated by both, the conference participants and Competition Commission, will be awarded. The evaluation criteria in the competition are: correspondence with the conference title, topicality, clear statement of objectives, subject, results and conclusions, understandability, attractiveness and visualization, balance between text and images. The conference will provide to academic and industrial experts a common forum to present and discuss the news and issues concerning nuclear technology and nuclear applications. The “Nuclear power for the people” conference aims also to bring together nuclear specialists, to present their results and to raise the interest of the general public to the achievements and uses of nuclear science and technologies. Particular attention will be granted to the safety culture in nuclear and the associated issues – education in safety culture, application of knowledge and skills of safety culture, self-assessment and policy to improve the safety culture. It is expected that the Kozloduy NPP experts will present their experience in the self-assessment study as well as the new courses and approaches outlined by the Horizon 2020 CORONA II international project. The authors should submit extended abstracts of up to 2 pages (maximum 4000 symbols). The abstract should contain: 1) paper title, 2) authors’ full names and addresses, 3) name, address, phone and e-mail of the author to whom subsequent correspondence should be directed, 4) five keywords in order of importance. The abstract should clearly state background, objectives, results and conclusions. It may contain figures, tables and pictures. The Organizing Committee will inform you about the acceptance of your paper for oral or poster presentation. The papers accepted for presentation on the conference are eligible for publishing in the BgNS Science and Technology Journal. Refer to www.bgns-transactions.org for more information.

SOCIAL
Nessebar
It’s an ancient city and one of the major seaside resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, located in Burgas Province. It is included in its list of World Heritage Sites (UNESCO, 1983).
The older part of Nessebar bears evidence of occupation by a variety of different civilizations over the course of its existence.
Originally a Thracian settlement, the city is known as Menebria or Melsambria at the beginning of the 6th century BC. At the beginning of the 6th century BC the town became a Greek colony. Mesembria (Greek) was an important trading center from then on and a rival of Apollonia (Sozopol). The Bulgarian version of the name, Nessebar or Mesebar, has been attested since the 11th century.
The capture of the town by the Turks in 1453 marked the start of its decline, but its architectural heritage remained and was enriched in the 19th century by the construction of wooden houses in style typical for the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast during this period.
Nessebar was developed as a key Bulgarian seaside resort since the beginning of the 20th century. After 1925 a new town part was built and the historic Old Town was restored.
