On 26th March 2020, Kozloduy NPP donated BGN 800 000 to fight the new coronavirus infection, the National Operational Headquarters reported. This amount is approximately EUR 400 000 and is one of the largest single donations made so far. The funds were provided for the purchase of medical equipment. Following its policy of being a socially responsible company, the nuclear power plant is one of the largest donors in Bulgaria. Over the years, the NPP has been involved many times in supporting various social campaigns in the fields of education, health care and keeping the environment clean.
