The Bulgarian Nuclear Society (BgNS) participated in the creation of a platform for “Education and Innovations in Energy Cyber Security”. BgNS partners in this initiative are Electric Vehicles Industrial Cluster, Military Academy “G. S. Rakovski”, Sofia Development Association and Sofia Forum for Security.
All these organizations supported the initiative by signing a framework agreement for cooperation on December 3, 2018.
The platform is a result of the First National Conference “Cyber Security in the Area of Electric Mobility and Digital Transformation of Energy Infrastructure”, which was held earlier in October 2018. It aims at creating an information hub on cyber security for Smart Cities, Digital Energy and Electric Mobility, development of a process-oriented systematic approach to cyber security and cyber-resistance in these sectors, and facilitating a cyber-security entrepreneurial ecosystem for Smart Cities, Digital Energy and Electric Mobility.
